I offer small boutique class sizes, 1:1 Yoga Mentoring and private group Yoga options. Balanced by Aquila has a class to help you feel energised and strong right in the heart of Mawson Lakes.
All classes form part of an eight week term course to help you get the most out of your Yoga practise.
I am currently taking a break from teaching Yoga but will be back in 2020! With new term dates and workshops to be announced in November. Vinyasa Yoga Beginner Course
Learn the basics of Vinyasa Flow Yoga in an eight week course perfect for beginners. No matter what point you are at in your Yoga journey, this class will guide you through the basics so you finish the course feeling more energised, confident and stronger.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a fun and energetic form of Yoga. Synchronising breath with movement, each class will build on the next. Throughout the 75 minutes, each class will have you sweating while you flow with your breath and the music and time to rest and restore before you leave your mat.
This class will not allow drop-ins, the full course must be purchased and it is highly encourage you attend each week to receive the most benefit from your Yoga practise.
In 2019 this Vinaysa Yoga Beginner Course sold out, with a waitlist in a little over a week! This is not one you want to miss out of if you are new to Yoga!
Gentle Vinyasa Yoga
Slow Flow Yoga is based around the principles of Vinyasa Flow Yoga, this class is a slower paced class, with more time to focus on variations to prepare for more challenging poses. There is also plenty of time to wind down and let go at the end of the class before we enter Savasana.
This Slow Flow Yoga Course is perfect for those who have some Yoga experience and want to learn more about Vinyasa Flow Yoga or who prefer a more gentle but still dynamic Yoga class.
Yin Yoga is a slower style of Yoga in which poses are held for three or more minutes to provide a deep release of connecting tissues. Poses are mostly practised seated or lying on your mat. Yin Yoga rather than targeting the muscle bulk, works to release the fascia & connective tissues.
This class is suitable for anyone and compliments an active lifestyle or a Flow practise with stillness.
